Back from vacation :)

Hi ladies!
Well we just got back from visiting my daughter in Minnesota! We have been on the go since we got there. We did so much active stuff that im sore and tired. I never realized just how bad of shape im in since this whole cancer thing...I really need to get crackin on exercising or something.
We went to the mall of america...lots of SHOPPING!!!! We rode the lightrail to downtown Minneapolis and walked forever on the skywalks and did more shopping! We went to the muesum in st paul to see King Tuts mummy and his artifacts...they are on tour right now and it was really neat to see...very interesting if you like that kind of stuff. We had to park almost a mile away and walk to the muesum cause it was so packed and go up and back down 10 flights of stairs...no elevators in that parking garage and it was really cold too.
But we did have alot of fun and im going back up sometime this summer and if everything goes ok we are going to fly to Paris or something like that.
It was just good to see my daughter...shes such a sweetie! I dont think she has a mean bone in her body!
For those of you that get on facebook my daughter posted pics on my page...sorry but i look really terrible in the pics...dont mean to scare anyone..lol! I just gained alot of weight and a few more wrinkles and got a little soft around the edges!

    Sounds like you had an awesome time! The walking is actually good for you, although maybe not for quite as long. I would be siiked to see King Tut's Mummy, and his Daddy for that matter, lol!

    I really enjoy reading your posts. I feel you are a very strong woman, much like myself.

    so glad you had a nice visit with your daughter! It will take us all a while to get back into shape for sure....but each day we are stronger physically, yes? Sounds like things are going in a positive direction for you now.... yeah!!!

    JoJo... it's so wonderful to hear from you! I am happy you were able to go visit with your daughter. It sounds like you had an amazing time in Minneapolis. Good for you! I have heard of the mall you went shopping at, but have never been. As for the King Tut exhibit... that sounds amazing, too.

    As for pics... you are beautiful to us because you radiate true beauty from the inside out JoJo. You are a ray of sunshine on the boards! Keep smiling. Hugs to you.

    You are a tough cookie! I'm glad you had so much fun. How wonderful to spend time with your daughter.

    I love Museums - and Malls! I heard that if you spend 10 minutes in each store at the Mall of America, it would take 4 days to see them all. Talk about shop til you drop....

    glad you had a chance to visit with your daughter. Sounds like you had a very nice time. I've heard about and seen pics on tv about the Mall of America. Because of my arthritis I don't like shopping anymore. I think I would make an exception to see that one though. I see my daughter almost daily because while she is student teaching I'm watching her girls during the day.

    even better ... the Mall of America! My kind of place .. LOL Did you walk until you dropped?

    How funny .. Hubby and I are thinking about going to Paris in a few months... Tickets via British Airlines are $535.00 round trip and that's from Southern California -- amazing price. Flying to Oregon -- cost us $369.00 each....

    to hear you had a very good time. Any time we get to visit with our daughters makes the trip worth while. I would like to see the Mall of America even though I am not a big shopper.
