Remission

One year down 4 to go. Additude is everything! I've had nothing but praise on how well I'm doing. I keep a positive aditude about everything and praise God for his many blessings. The ony thing that causes me any problem, is good friends who are dieing from other forms of cancer. It becomes hard to deal on those days. If you ever have trouble dealing, just remember the alternitive could be worse.

Congratulations!
I am so happy to hear that you have been in remission for a whole year. I also was dx with stage 1C, and I'm approaching my 6 mo check-up. I want to join your club! I don't know if attitude actually has anything to do with remission, but a positive attitude sure does make the whole business easier to live with, for us and our families & friends. It's so hard to see friends suffer and to die of cancer or of anything, really. I recently lost a friend to leukemia. It's HARD. Of course, you are absolutely right about the alternative. It reminds me of a friend's telling me (when I was taking a broken wrist very badly) that every day above ground is a good day.
