PAIN IN RIGHT KNEE

I'm hoping someone can give me some advice, remedy, suggestions on how to alleviate some of the pain in my right knee. I started Arimidex on January 5, 2011 along with a daily dose of vitamin D (1200 units) and calicum (1000mg). For the past couple of weeks I've noticed my knee beginning to ache more and more. I have a follow-up appointment next Wednesday with my oncologist. I used a vapor rub last night along with a heating pad, which did give me some relief, but the smell is awful. I'm at work now and noticing everyone looking my way. I should have gotten the ordorless kind (smile). Do you think this is being caused by the arimidex?

I too started Arimidex Jan 5. I have had osteoarthritis for more than 10 years (since gaining 80 lbs during menopause). I had 3 discs fused in my neck after falling 6 times and breaking both shoulders. I have lumbar spinal stenosis and find it painful to walk any distance. I've had many injection in both my knee and my spine. I've been on medication for OA for the past 11 years. I had a torn meniscus repaired in my left knee 2 1/2 years ago. Last week as I was going down a couple of stairs I felt my right knee pop. I've had so much pain now in both knees. I do have an unloading brace that cost me $2800 for the left knee but have not worn it since I started chemo. I woke this morning with a back ache too. I see my onc in 2 weeks and I'm preparing a list of things I've noticed since starting Arimidex. Unfortunately my body was still producing Estrogen and I need to take the Arimidex.
