My chemo yesterday went off without a hitch!! I can't believe it, I'm finally done! I wanted to thank all of you wonderful ladies for the support and comraderie. Sorry, I'm having a chemobrain day. Everything I write or type comes out wrong. You know what I mean, don't you? I go today for my LAST NEULASTA shot!! Whoppeee! No more bone pain!THey have me coming in this Thurs and next Monday for Hydration, then I go back to see my Onc on the 4th of April and to have my port flushed. She said she wanted it to stay in for another 6 months! Yuck! I hate it! But she said you never know and I might need Fluids at some point.

I meet my RadOnc Dr. on the 25th for a planning session. On to the next phase of cancerworld.

    So happy you made it through chemo!! And yes I know what you mean by the chemo brain, I'm having trouble typing as we type :) Good luck with rads and remember to lotion up, lotion up, and did I say lotion up.

    that finish line crossed, now you are on to rads! Rest when possible, and pamper yourself when possible.

    Great job, Diane!
    Being on the backside of chemo is a great place to be. We knew you could do it. Now, rest, relax and take good care of yourself as you get ready for rads--which you'll ace as well!

    Those were the worst words ever mentioned to me, "I am going to

    oops, I've been away and just say that you have finished Chemo!!!! Yeah!!!!! This is great news. I finished chemo in September, rads in November...and I still have my port in. But now that I am back from travels abroad...I plan to schedule to be 'de-ported' next month. It's all good......and I am so glad you are a chemo-grad now too. Hugs
