Monday morning, this is the beginning of the reality.

Mom has 1st appointment with radiation/oncologist tomorrow..

I just wanted to say THANK YOU ALLL so much for all the information, advice, kind words, support and stregnth.

I feel so prepared for the appointment tomorrow and it makes me feel so much better that i can ask the right questions to make sure mom is getting the best care.

My plan is to have a talk with her and dad tomorrow about SOME of things to expect tomorrow to ease the blow, she needs a little info at a time.. and a doctor hitting her with a million things tomorrow will be too overwhelming. Thanks to all you wonderful people i can ease her into some of the heavy stuff tonight which will be better for her!

im ready for tomorrow, just hope the doctor is NICE. i have a tape recorder, my big binder with medical records/info .. and a page full of questions!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! YOUR STORIES ARE INSPIRING, YOUR ADVICE MUCH APPRECIATED.

I know it will still be difficult tomorrow, but it makes me feel better that i have a bed of knowledge going in.

thank you all, will keep updating .. i like having an outlet where people understand.. i find it difficult to talk to the people i love about this because i get upset. talking here is empowering.
