Has anyone had problems with gagging

I didn't really have gagging, but
I did have a feeling that I had a pill stuck in my throat and it felt funny to swallow. This was during the last half of radiation. My rad. onc. said it was probably due to esophagitis from the radiation since I also had radiation at the nodes in my clavicle. He said it would clear shortly after rads were finished and it did.
If it were me, I would make another appointment with the radiation oncologist--maybe there is some scar tissue or something like that causing that sensation.
Good luck.
