I'll take this side affect overCypressCynthia said:Hair thinning/hair loss is
Hair thinning/hair loss is listed as a common adverse reaction on epocrates. My legs have few hairs to this day--not sure if it was the tamoxifen, chemo or me--but who wants that razor anyway? ;-)
some of the other ones I am experiencing! It is so frustrating for me. I can't figure out that what I am experiencing is a side affect, or something to be more concerned about. ugh!! -

I shave my legs, but reallycrselby said:hair thinning and Tamoxifen
I've been on Tamoxifen for a year and 4 months. I have definitely NOT experienced hair thinning anywhere on my body. But we are all so different....

I shave my legs, but really dont need to shave my underarms very much. -
I've not heard of this sideSylviaD said:tamoxifien
I was on taxioxifien. Hair loss is one side effect. I didn't have to shave legs or underarms for the seven months I was on it. It was actually a relief. But I shaved my head in the beginning and it's now a little thinner and growing slowly. But I am full of life.
I've not heard of this side effect, but, I don't know all of them either. Sorry if this is happening to you.

No question is silly on here, so, always ask away. I wish I didn't have to shave my legs, but, not because of a side effect of tamox. And, I don't have any hair under my arm where I had rads.

But each of us have different side effects so maybe it could be the med! I did get thickening of uterus right away...!
