Tamoxifien
I was just wondering if a side effect of tamoxifien. Is hair loss one? I mean on your legs and underarms. I almost never have to shave, just like when I was on chemo. I know this is a silly question but I was just curious. My legs are smooth. Thanks Janie

Hair thinning/hair loss is
Hair thinning/hair loss is listed as a common adverse reaction on epocrates. My legs have few hairs to this day--not sure if it was the tamoxifen, chemo or me--but who wants that razor anyway? ;-)0 -

some of the other ones I am experiencing! It is so frustrating for me. I can't figure out that what I am experiencing is a side affect, or something to be more concerned about. ugh!!0 -
i have noticed slower growth
I chalked it up to my age (51)not the meds-but could very well be!0 -
tamoxifien
I was on taxioxifien. Hair loss is one side effect. I didn't have to shave legs or underarms for the seven months I was on it. It was actually a relief. But I shaved my head in the beginning and it's now a little thinner and growing slowly. But I am full of life.0 -

I've been on Tamoxifen for a year and 4 months. I have definitely NOT experienced hair thinning anywhere on my body. But we are all so different....

No question is silly on here, so, always ask away. I wish I didn't have to shave my legs, but, not because of a side effect of tamox. And, I don't have any hair under my arm where I had rads.

no hair thinning..except when I get hair cut...I HAVE SUCH thick hair they thin it out for me.
But each of us have different side effects so maybe it could be the med! I did get thickening of uterus right away...!0
