aspirin??

My dr has recommended that I take aspirin daily. Has any body had problems with it?
How do I know if I am having problem with aspirin?
I was dx april 2009, stage III, colorectal. chemo/rad/ surgery/ostomy/ reversal/reconnection (in late mid november) digestion still a little rough.

    I can't take it
I can't take aspirin daily because of intestinal issues I've had before the cancer, and things haven't improved afterwards.

P.S. If you take a buffered aspirin, it might not be so hard on your system.

    Bruising
I can't take baby aspirin because I start bruising easily after just a few days. I've tried this three or four times and end up with bruises, so I have given up on aspirin. My mom died of a heart attack so I would like to take aspirin as a preventative, but I can't. This is just my experience and you may not bruise after taking the aspirin, but bruising is one thing to watch for.
