did anyone see the Motown concert from the White House? ssoooo rockin I loved it. I am not really aware of John Legend but he was great and Cheryl Crow was fab and her duet with Smokey Robinson was over the moon.

Of course I am way older than most of you so I remember all this the first time round. Yesirree 1965 bell bottoms and dancin the night away to Motown....still love it

    I came in on the tail end of it.....The Supremes, and Aretha, oh Lord !!!! Motown Sounds...Yeah Maggie, that era brings back a lot of memories......Hope, Love, and Sock Hops.......buzz

    Waaaaaah!
    I missed it!! I didn't realize it was on.... I am a Motown junkie from back in the 60s!! Ok, so I wasn't allowed out and about until the late 60s... but it's sort of like if you became an adult in one decade, the music from the previous decade becomes your thing. For me, I LOVE the music from the 50s and the 60s... but mostly, Motown! The Platters, The Temptations, Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Jackson Five... all of them!!

    So now I must be very sad because I could have PVR'd the show if I wasn't home. I wonder if they will replay it?
