    Thanks
Thank you Sue. The PET is Monday, and treatment and results Tues. We buried our mom today. My head hurts, my heart hurts, and I am ready for bed and it's 7:15. It was a wonderful service and she looked like she was sleeping.

The hardest part is watching the great grandkids and answering the tough questions. When will she wake up? How did she get here? I can't see Jesus. Can I talk to Jesus? Why does she feel cold? Just hard.

    Questions
    Beth,
I know all about those questiond kids ask. Believe it or not I did the same thing when I was maybe 4 years old. I don't know why, but I can remember it so well. It was a long, long time ago. I asked "Why is he laying in there?" Why is the bottom of the box closed?" Does he have any shoes on,cause I can't see any shoes" "Can he hear me?" " I think I saw him move".These are questions I asked because I really wanted to know. Kids have no idea what is really going on when they are that young. It must leave an impact to remember things like that. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)

    Sorry..
    Hi Beth,
Sorry..I thought your scan was to be done today...blame it on chemo brain I guess. Sounds like it was a tough day for you and the questions by the great grandkids didn't make it any easier. My grandfather died when I was very young and I vividly remember viewing his body at the funeral home and the questions that raced through my mind. Back then, children were to be seen and not heard,so my questions didn't get asked or answered.I remember it like it was yesterday. My heart goes out to you and your family. Take care my friend.
    Much love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    Loss of your mom
    Dear Beth,

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom.

I lost my mom also years ago. You never get over the loss of a mother or father.
Somehow, after years go by, only the wonderful memories remain. Still, you think of
all the mile stones they missed, and wish they were here to share the great moments.
I am thankful for my childhood because of my mother.

I am so saddened remembering my loss, and the sadness you and your family now have.

    Love Maggie

    My eyes dripped again
Jim came to pick me up at work this afternoon with his mom's wedding ring and the string of pearls he gave her. It made me cry....again. I thought the drips were dried. I was shocked his dad gave me her pearls.

    It was sweet.

Thanks guys for the support. It will get better with time.

    Take care everyone.
    Beth
