My life was changed forever. March 1, 2010 @ 3:20 in the afternoon my best friend, my rock, my confident...my soft place to land was diagnosed with metastic lung cancer.

For 207 days we fought the beast. We loved. We laughed, and yes, we cried....

I love you Mom and miss you every second of every day.......<3

    Hi,
    I don't know about you, but I can't believe a year has passed already. I'm sure you miss your mom alot. I still think of mine everyday and she passed away in 1989!
    It'll be a year on Mar. 25th since I lost my husband. Never thought I'd make it to where I am today. But I've been a little more depressed lately, but guess it's just cause of the one year anniversary that's coming.

    Hope...I am so very sorry
    Hope...I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my mother 31 days ago from lung cancer. Last year I joined an organization called The National Lung Cancer Partnership. They sponsor a walk called Free to Breathe. I formed a team last year and raised over $3000.00 for research. My hope was to give my mother a few more years. Little did I know. I am going to do it again this year with the hope that it will give me some peace. I will keep you in my thoughts......Nicole

    Yeah, we are trying to get a walk together on our own in memory of my mom, got a couple local sponsors.

    I have walked in a few cancer walks in the past, awesome feeling!!
