I had a long talk this morning with the "scary old woman" this morning about Kerry. He's still in rehab and doing good. He did have a episode of where he snuck out for a smoke and crashed his wheel chair. "That sounds like him" So now he no longer tries to sneak off since that last try. He's eating like a half starved horse and the staff all seem to just love him. He is getting stronger with his walking and transfers to and from the toilette and bed. His left side is still a little week but the doctors thinks for what he's been through that he's doing great. They think he might be coming home next week with some help from home health. I'm just happy he'll be coming home soon

Well, that's all I got for now. The whole family are working around the clock staying with him in shifts.

    Sounds like we need to get the ol' coot some bumpers for his wheel chair!

    I am sure he will be glad to get home and also very sure the family will be very happy too.

    Thanks Brooks for the update! I got an email from Susie today and she basically told me what you just said. Except for the part.. "He thinks I am a scary old woman now just wait till I get his butt home" LOL....... You get him Susie!!! I am so happy to hear he is progressing so nicely. Miss and luv ya Kerry.........

    Kerry - Crashed your wheel chair eh? That sucks.

    I have some tips for strengthening your left side. It's all mental. Repeat after me:
    History will show that Jimmy Carter really was a good president.
    It's not a hand out. It's a hand up.
    It's still all Bush's fault.
    Obama is a rock star. I love him. I love him. l LOVE HIM!!!!! (try to squeal a little after this one)
    I like bow ties.

    I've got lots more. Take it from a good lefty, this therapy works. Can't wait to hear about your progress.
