We used this at the Vet Clinic
1 qt peroxide
1/4 cup Baking soda
1 tsp dish soap.
Works great on 'skunked' dogs. I've used it on cat spray, too. Just have to be careful with it.
Also, bought the stuff from the pet store. Howie marked the entire skirt of the sofa. It worked like a charm and didn't damage the fabric or color.

See if you can beg or borrow
See if you can beg or borrow a Hoover Steamvac or the like. Then use the pet odors liquid cleaner for the steamvac. Next use the upholstry attachment and spray liberally and then vacuum up the liquid with the steamvac. Voila, odor gone!
I have had my Hoover for about 7 years now and I don't know what I ever did without it. If you have pets, you will love it as, if they throw up or "whatever" on your rug or carpet, this sucker takes care of it. And I am in no way related to the Hoover Co nor do I get reimbursed ;-).
P.S. They have come down in price too. The model that I have now runs about $139 at amazon.com. -

My cat sprayed on my couch & I was worried I would have it throw it out, then I was told about this product. It works wonders! I also use it for cleaning/laundry whenever there is any smell involved. Walmart use to sell it, then stopped for some reason, so now I get it at Home Depot.
