Well it seems so surreal but it has been a whole year since my lumpectomy...Wondering where the time went??? But anyway what I really wanted to share was how I spent the day..I had been planning and talking and talking about celebrating and buying myself something [love to shop]and took the day off from work to make it all about me me me...So I am all set....Then as they say "life happens when you are busy making plans" I ended up having to help my 85 year old Aunt who is having health problems, my husband had to have emergency dental work and we got really bad weather so I didnt want to drive anywhere...But guess what it was still the best day!!!!!Cause I am still here Praise God
and I am really grateful to be here and able to help someone else..Thats the best gift to me.
Thanks to all the kindred spirits for helping me make it thru this hard year!!
Love and Peace to you All...

Congratulations ..NJMom10 said:Such a gift to still be here
It sounds like a great day to me too. I'm having a lumpectomy this week after 8 rounds of neoadjuvant chemo. So hearing that you are a year out gives me hope. Just another great reason for you to be here!
1 year .. time flies by, doesn't it! You probably know more about breast cancer, than the average women - surreal is right! Your fight and journey will enable you to pass along information, to another women dealing with a "breast cancer", diagnosis - now that is what I call coming full circle.
Living your life .. how wonderful!
Strength and Courage,
