Multiple Myeloma - Zometa reaction

in Multiple Myeloma #1
I was diagnosed to have multiple myeloma Stage I ( Smouldering )two years ago. Not being treated right now. However, I am getting Zometa infusions every month. I was told that some patients get flu-like symptoms and mild fever (Less than 100.5)following the infusions. I had two infusions so far. At both times I had high fever (102 degree F). I am wondering if anyone had similar experience and if I should be concerned.

    I was once treated with
    I was once treated with zometa but the symptoms only appeared during the first infusion. I experienced Flu-like symptoms (high fever, chills) severe sinus pains, abdominal pain and nausea, but they disappeared the next day. Hope everyting goes well in your treatment. God bless
