I feel better today
I have my 5th round of chemo on Monday. Taxol & Carbo every 21 days, and it's knocking back some of the cancer but not all of it.

Do what makes you feel like" You"!
So awesome that you went and did this! Scarves are handy and pretty, but sometimes a woman just needs to feel that hair brushing her shoulders! Or if your style was short, brushing your bangs from your eyes can be a great feeling!
When my husband was having chemo, I saw so many beautiful women looking so "chic" with their scarves! But I thought to myself, there may not be scarf silky or colorful enough to replace the feeling of having a head of hair!
Just wanted to let you know, that you are beautiful, no matter what! Always, remember that!
Bless you,

Thank you Lucy. Yes I have a short wig and love the way the breeze blows the bangs on my forehead. I forgot how that felt. And when I look in the mirror I feel so much better about myself. I wear the scarves here at home and when I go to the oncologist for my chemo infusion (I'd hate to fall asleep and move my head and have my wig come off :-). But now when my husband & I go out to dinner or I go to the grocery store, I notice that the there are no longer looks of pity coming my way with people not wanting to meet my eyes. Now I'm just another patron.0 -

I am so happy to hear that you are feeling so much better! Continue to take good care of yourself, have many dinner dates with your hubby and smile, you are beautiful!
Let me know how you are doing. Will be keeping you in my thoughts.
