New EC patient - Veteran currently going through Chemo and Radiation

My husband is going through Chemo and Radiation with plans for surgery once they can shrink the tumor. He was first staged last year as T2N1. It's already been a long haul, as he did not get diagnosed until April 2010 by the VA. This kind of hit us hard, as we just didn't know what to expect and really never heard of this type of cancer before.

Hi, and welcome. I am a cancer survivor, I was diagnosed with stage 111 EC, in nov. 2007. I underwent pre-op chemo and surgery in May 2008.Now test show I am disease free.
William always has good advice, so I don't need to add to it. This is a very good supportive site. It was after treatment that I found it. It would have helped me so much, because, like you I had never heard of it before, and it was very scary.
Most of the time, no matter what the problem, someone here has experienced it and can offer encouraging word.
Please keep posting. We want to know haow he does.
I will be praying for him, Sandra
