Keep on swimming...
John,
We are all pulling for you. You have had a tough road but have maintained a great attitude - you are obviously a very strong and intelligent person. Stamina is tough to maintain - but you can do it.
These PE's will resolve and be re-absorbed over some time, a few weeks. I suspect your need for oxygen will also be reduced over time. Give the blood thinners and your body a chance to work before you make up your mind. Once you are through the acute phase I suspect other treatment doors will open.
Keep the faith, we are all thinking of you.

Hi John,
I'm saddened to hear your news & I know your fighting spirit has kept you going for a long time & sometimes people have to lay their battle gear down. I just hope and pray that it really isn't the case for you now- someone just mentioned here they had a PE also & that it was bad at first, but did get better. Don't give up, John- things can still get better. You know we are all rooting for you here & I am also praying you will be strengthened again.
Hugs to you,
Lisa
