This morning I woke up, body was achy, went to the gym every day this week (=
Just as I was about to put my sneakers on, I was listening to this song my friend
forwarded me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFTvbcNhEgc&feature=feedbul

I stopped, put my sneakers down, reclined on the sofa I spent so much time
on during treatment. And this song just opened up a door in me that I forgot
was there.

I just closed my eyes (and I am not lying when I say I must have listened to it 20 times or so)
and let this song take me places. For the first time in a long time I longed for far away places,
you know that feeling you get right before a big trip? That's how it made me feel. The video
shows you a grey every day life and it is so much in contrast with the word of this song. I just
found it achingly beautiful. I was day dreaming before I knew it. Did a song ever do this for you?

It's nice to keep a little room for dreams and adventures to come.

Love,
Ayse

Every day is a potential adventure...
It just depends on how you look at it!!!!!

I, personally, in the last 2 weeks, have been patted down 3 times, scanned 2 times, reminded to 'mind the gap' countless times, rode a bike more than drove a car, been threatened with possible deportation, and just finished baking blueberry muffins from scratch, using a recipe written in Dutch...I ALWAYS try to find an adventure in my days!!!

    BIG dutch hugs, Kathi

    Lovely!
Throughout this whole crazy journey, I made it a point to find something, just one little thing, to laugh about and that brought me joy every single day. Some days, it was quite a challenge--but those were the days I needed it the most.

Am I glad I got breast cancer--HELL no! Have there been blessings that have emerged from it--OH YES!

    Hugs, Renee

    Ayse... who is the artist
Ayse... who is the artist and what is the name of the song? I know you give the link, but thought I'd ask anyhow. I will have to go online and have a listen.

When I go to the gym, I love to listen to Florence + The Machine. Her music, along with my other favorites, helps me get through my exercise routine.

    Thanks for the share.

    @Bella Luna
The song is by Angus and Julia Stone and is called Big Jet plane.
It inspires me to break free from the mundane. I had never heard
    of this group before.
