Ideas please

I posted under caregivers but I know not everybody goes there so I wanted to post here as well. I was at the hospital yesterday and the oncology department had a table of donated items free for the patients hats, bags etc. I in the past spent alot of time decorating sweatshirts & T shirts. Since I tend to hang on to everything I have a bunch of them sitting in tubs waiting to be decorated. I thought it would be nice to decorate and donate them. I can also make the sweatshirts into jackets if that would be better. Need ideas for type of decorations also: hearts, angels or ???? Just wanted some input from the people that spend so much time in the (usually cold) waiting rooms as well. I welcome ideas for other items also. I don't mean to leave the guys so I could use some guy ideas also.
