(((((((HUGS)))))) Meena! I am so sorry about the side effects, but it does seems you have some good news to help you know the treatment is working!!!! I am so happy to know that, and that you have a well-known and obviously respected doctor caring for you.
Thanks for checking in; you are a valued member of our Kindred Spirit family, you know!

I remember so well those days after each chemo round when just taking a shower was The Big Event of the day -- so enjoy it, dear Meena!
Glad to hear that you're keeping on fighting, with a good team of doctors there with you.

Glad to hear from you. Sorry for the side effects but it sounds like this is at least holding everything at bay. Sometimes just taking a shower is all we can manage to do. I love to just stand in the shower and let the warm, well hot, water pour over me. I always look longingly at that home shows that have the multiple shower heads that pulse and dribble and rain on you. It would be my dream to have one of those and just stay in there for hours.
Sounds like you are with a great center and that they are doing everything they can. Glad it is close to you. Prayers and good thoughts are coming your way.

So sorry you so very sick. I was wondering. When I was on Ac they gave me a drug called Emend that I took the day before treatment the day of treatment and the day after treatment. 3 pills. This kept me from getting sick. I wonder if this would help you at all. This really kept the nausea in control. It is good to hear from you. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs

the side efforts are knocking you on your butt. Maybe this means .. that the chemo infusions are working, and doing what they do best.! Hydrate and rest, is pretty much all that you can do. Banana's will help with the big 'D'.
Strength, Courage and Hope ...

Meena I am so sorry that you
Meena I am so sorry that you are having the side effects but it sounds hopeful that it may be working? I am a bath girl but, shower or bath, nothing like some warm water and bath gels to make a gal feel better. Hang in there my friend--you have definitely been in my thoughts and prayers.0 -
Hang in There!

Are you at Fox Chase Cancer Center by any chance? I travel from Washington, DC to see Dr. Christofannelli, seeing him next Tuesday. I do my treatment locally and see another oncologist locally as well.
You are lucky to be close to such a great center, and sounds like you have a good doctor. You will get through this ordeal and come through to the other side stronger than ever!
