Hi leese 5
Welcome! This is a great place to read, post, scream, vent, cry, all of the above, etc. As you will see many times here, waiting is the absolute hardest thing to do. Try to relax (easier said then done). Make sure you call your Doctor bright and early Monday, and don't feel like you are being a pest if you don't hear from them, call them back! Keep us posted.0 -
Welcome!!
It may very well be nothing (hopefully), but, I know how hard it is to wait. Absolutely call your Doctor on Monday! Really push to have it biopsied, these things cannot wait, especially if you feel it has grown. If you do not get anywhere, find another Doctor. I was nicely "aggressive" about my lump. I had everything including a lumpectomy within a month. This was 2009.Thankfully, it was not an aggressive cancer. It is hard not to worry, but, we are here for you! There are wonderful people on this board! Any questions or thought are welcome.
Also, ask for copies of all results, no matter what, I have a binder with all mine, be very proactive, it is your body! Good luck and wishes!! Keep in touch!0 -

Thanks! I just dont understand if there is something there why they would just say ,we wanna see you again in 4 months instead of just doing a biopsy to make sure its not cancer. I have a friend that had found a lump and they did her the same way and come to find out it was cancer. I just hope they do more testing to be sure.I have waited the past 6 months for yesterday to get here and possibly have some relief yet to find myself still waiting. Its hard.I checked my results from my last mammogram but there wasn't any measurements on there to go by but this time I saw her measure and type them in. Can't wait til Monday and I will keep in touch. Thanks again.0 -

Leese,
I know that my radiologist wouldn't tell me that it was Cancer. I saw it on the screen and he told me it was "worrisome" looking. Mine was 1.8 cm. When I had my biopsy, I looked at what my surgeon took out and put in the specimen jar. Looked so innocent. It would be great for you to have two measurements to compare. Even if it is benign (hoping), it is growing. My surgeon and oncologist were very open and honest with me. They are a team. When I went for a check up with my oncologist this past Wednesday, she gave me a huge heartfelt hug. Genuine, I didn't want to let go. I am clear, yippee!! I hope that your friend is okay, tell her to look us up, if she needs to. She is the perfect ally for you. Hope this helps!! Surround yourself with the love of your kids, they are so comforting. You need to do what is best for you and that is speak up for yourself. Call your doctor Monday and tell him/her you do not want to wait 4 months. There is no reason not to move forward now. It's your body. Don't be afraid to speak up, sometimes we have to do that to get results sorry to say. Keeping in mind this may not be cancer, it is still something you need to know what it is. Wishing you the best. Please post back when you can. Good Luck.
