The result I was told of Mark's PET on Wednesday was NEC (No Evidence of Cancer). NEC or NED...Nice to Hear (NTH) regarding SCC, HPV+ Tonsil survivorship. Love you all here on CSN.
Also surgeon's office gave the A-OK for Mark to have a massage. He has been wanting one...now I can get him one for Valentine's Day. It's a surprise...don't tell him.

Woohooh! What a fabulous Valentine's Day present for you both. This certainly brought a giant grin to my face (Well, one side anyway...the other side doesn't work). Here's wishing you both many, many more happy Valentine's Days. Oh, does that mean that Mark gets a massage each time as well? There's a good incentive to stay well!

Congrats... maybe you should make it a couples massage!... just a thought.
We are headed to our first steak restaurant in over 2 yrs... he can't take it anymore... he may not be able to swallow it... but he is going to give it a good try!...found a place that cooks steaks over wood fire (so it should smell amazing) and has augrautin potatoes... so at least he will be able to eat something!...surprising him by inviting another throat cancer surviver and his wife (someone he worked with and is 4 yrs out) to join us for the big day!
