Has anybody had to have a blood transfusion after cemo treatments? my husband's cemo docter wants him to try a new drug Aranesp because his blood level is 9.7 But there is alot of risk to this drug. He has had a liver transplant 10 years ago, now throat cancer. Has a feeding tube and had to have a track because he stopped breathing when they put him out when they put a port in. He just got out of the hospitol yesterday was in 14 days. Anybody know anything about this drug Aranesp? Don't know if he can take the blood transvusion because he is a liver transplant person?
