Prayers for my friend Cathy

My friend I had mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Cathy is having her surgery today. She is having a double masectomy then expanders placed for implants later. I am not sure of the time frame on reconstruction because I had a lump. I am sure some of you ladies know though. I would appreciate prayers for her. She should be going in for her surgery within the hour. Thank you all. God Bless

    Janice .. My bilateral mastectomy took 6.5
    hours -- my first day or two found me in exreme pain ... Prayers to Cathy. You are such a good friend, Janice.

    Janice, sending strength and
    Janice, sending strength and prayers for your friend Cathy. My surgery also took around 4-5 hours and the first couple of days were a blur. I stayed 2 nights in the hospital and did experience some pain but worse than the pain I was very sick from the narcotics. I had to be switched off narcotics to a more mild pain pill. Guess I wouldn't be a good drug addict. I hope your friend does fine through the surgery and recovers quickly.

    Cathy is out of surgery, still in recovery. Surgery went well and she did fine during surgery. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. Will keep you posted. God Bless
