Finally some good news in my life!

in Colorectal Cancer #1
We just got approved for home modification.. we had not made a payment since July 2010. Paying two cars, a kid in college,my salary was cut in half with the employers disability benefits and my spouse could not land a job, after he was layed off without collecting any money.We had exhausted all our savings paying mortgage since Jan.2010. But thanks to my employer, family,and friends, They helped us out alot. Finally my husband found a job in Nov.2010. But I had this heavy cloud over my head all the time. I don't want to loose my home. Well they first told me I had to pay over $9000.00 to bring up to date. I was like. If I had the money I would pay. Hired some lawyer to help out. But they wanted 2500.00 I payed them 500.00 in Oct.2010, they did nothing. So I decided to fight it myself. and thank to God my prayers were answered.. They lowered our interest rate to 2% for the maturity of loan, and my monthly payments are 400.00 less a month. the best part is I get to keep my home and my kids have a safe place to stay.....woooooh! what a relief. thank you Jesus. I was very lucky....well I just wanted to share some good news....Blessings to all from Lourdes

    Hi Lourdes,

    I'm so glad for you that you were able to work it out and keep the house! As you're aware, sooo many people lately have lost their homes, even some people I know who really tried to work with the finance companies to no avail. So, you are very fortunate.
    Congrats! We all deserve some good news in our lives!!

    Thanks to all. Yes I did Pete
    I feel like a new person these days. I feel relaxed and worry free for the most part. Now I can just concentrate on only fighting this damn cancer out of my body!!!!! Blessings to all from Lourdes :)

    Those programs are a bear to get into! Must be a great relief knowing you will not lose your home!
