I had strong stomache pain
About 1 1/2 months ago I had strong stomach pains for several days on my right side. I talked to the doctor (onc) about it; she thinks it was gas. I have not had any problems since. When in doubt, check it out! Call + talk to someone.0 -
Hey Pete
Sorry you are hurting. I had something similar last month. I was watching TV and got carried away eating some almonds. It almost clogged my ostomy. I woke up at 4am, had to change bag it was leaking, had broken seal. my ostomy was really flat and swollen, I was worried. I massaged around and it slowly moved out. boy sorry for the details. but I can't eat red meat anymore and no fried onion rings, huh! I hope its just gas. you made me laugh..one night my bag was farting away and my husband startled asked. "Was that a cat outside our bedroom window" LOL! I just laughed and said yes.....blessings from Lourdes0 -

its seems to come and go with peristalsis I think
spoke with ONC nurses.
they are lovelly,
off I go to hospital.
the pains not that bad now when I sit,
will drive myself, what the hell.
our ambulances want take you to your favourite hospital, they
only do the closest local.

I was so relieved and the pain stopped instantly and then the bag filled.
3 full bags today and no diarrhea. from one extreme to the next.
the onc nurse recommended chewing gum and walking. probably good advice.
was to thinking to clearly this morning.,
