Sounds Familiar
Sorry you are getting the runaround.I sure hope your brother gets the help that he needs soon.
My brother and I both have been playing this horrible game. I finished my Chemo 4 months ago and am just starting to get tests run to see how things are going. I swear it was only about a week after I finished Chemo that my brother became really ill and after 3 months of tests he has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer with "maybe 6 months to live" or two years with treatment. He has been in a VA Hospital for a month. They just found cancer in his liver also this past week. He is in California, I am in Virginia. He has no insurance and has to use the VA System. No choices at all except to forget it or do what they say.
Sorry to rant....I know what you are going through as the frustration of dealing with the "not our problem...see another Doc" crap gets old really fast. I had a major meltdown over all this crap last week and have been fighting with my husband over everything. I just filled out 13 pages of patient information to give to a new family doctor today. I have peripheral neuropathy so writing is very tiring...AAARRRGGGH!
I hope that your brother is feeling better. Try to breathe. Make sure that you get enough rest as you need to stay well.
Best Wishes,

I certainly hope things ease up for joansy. He has been through a lot.
What you said at the end of your post is very similar to what my diagnosing surgeon said to me. He said, "You haven't done anything wrong. You are just unlucky. There are criminals out there who go along fine, + you haven't done anything wrong, yet you have ended up with colon cancer. -

Your brother
Your brother should be in the hospital untill they find out what is wrong with him. When I was getting dehydrated the doctor had me drink a bottle of sports drink everyday.I hope he gets better soon.Good luck, and I hope this helps.I know how you feel in your rant, the criminals get to stay healthy, and get it paid for.I can understand your anger,go ahead and rant.
