in Esophageal Cancer #1
I am a nervous wreck. Vince just left to go to Gainesville for his PET scan. His friend took him and its an hour and a half drive. He is barely eating a thing so needs the JTUBE.All the prayers everyone has going please help us out today.Vince and I need you guys and I so appreciate all everyone has written and done for us thru words.

    I sooo remember the day that my dad went for his PET scan!! I was sooooo sick to my stomach and scared out of my mind. I couldn't talk about it... Didn't want to think about it. I have been in your shoes as most people on this board have been. Please know that I am praying for positive results. Please keep us posted on the results.

    Hi Barb, If you all went to Gainesville, do you mean in Florida? My husband was dx stage four, and was treated at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. We started out in Gainesville, FL, then thank God found Moffitt. He was given three years of good quality life, which he would not have gotten if we hadn't gone to Moffitt. I urge you to look it up and read about it. They are the best in the area, unless you want to drive to Duke in N.C. Hope this helps.....
