First day of Chemo

Just keep your eyes on the prize. Before you know it your DH will be done with chemo. Try to make sure he gets all the rest he needs and to stay hydrated I found my hardest days were after the pump came off.:)Melissa -

Good Morning, we made it though the night and it went well. He is on 5-flu,oxaliplatin,then he starts avastin in 2 weeks , he just got his port put in a week ago. So far so good. What is you husband taking? I think I read he has been doing this for a while this our first time at this rodeo, I hope it still goes well. i hope things go well for you ? How are you and how do you help him? -

Thanks for the tip. I think I drive him crazy because I watch him so closely. But I will make sure he drinks, thank you.
