Thanks for welcoming me back!!!

I too have gained weight from steroids, but, I am sooo happy to be alive, that it is okay!! I have a granddaughter that said to me "Grammy, your belly is big, but, I love you!!" I have a treadmill and walk my precious dogs everyday. I WILL lose my weight, but, for right now, I've earned it! I have rheumatoid arthritis on top of things, so, I go with the flow! My kids are loving, and that is the best thing. I live one day at a time and my attitude has changed to more easy going. When my family come over, I don't fret about sweeping the floor, or making "appearances" anymore, I get my coat and head out with them. Death is certain in all our lives, one way or another, no one really knows when, so, I take it in stride, and like all my BC sisters and brothers, I will do what I can to try to avoid it coming back, but, in the end, it is life's way!
To all of you...You really are not alone! We are here for you!! You are all special!!

Welcome back woodsygal! And
Welcome back woodsygal! And triple ditto on the beautiful post. I feel the same way, life is precious and we have to take it in stride, there is no other way. Feel the sun shine on us, laugh in the rain, and make snow angels (were expecting 4-8" today). I'm back in the battle again and I know I have a long road ahead of me, but I also know, I don't go it alone
God Bless,
~Kari -

I just put in request for book-can't wait to get it...
thanks for suggestion
This really resonated with me--the stupid little things I may have worried about before--so what?! Not important. Friends and family and the love we all have for each other--that's where it's at.
Thank you.

Let me know how you like the book! I still have it here, showed my 15 year old son some of the paragraphs that related to me, and he told me " I understand more mom"! It's just nice and comforting! Great to hear from you!!! Carlie -
