3 for Me
It was three years for me on December 19, 2010. Since then, many follow-up visits with all three doctors, several mammograms and I'm still dancing with NED. I thank God for his blessings, medical science, the brave ones who enter Trials to benefit all of us, and I bless my heart for hanging in there. I'm very happy for ALL OF US. Hugs, Marilynn -

Janice,
We talked before about our names... I am so glad for you. I can't wait until I can say that. My mom has 14yrs under her belt. I think you responded to her "mothers" blog. Hearing so many survivor stories gives me so much hope and empowerment. I WILL NOT let this take over. My mom is a huge reminder that we CAN beat it. Enjoy celebrating and here's to many many more years...

I'm so proud of you Janicejessiesmom1 said:We did it!
It has been 1 year since my mastectomy and 6 months since my last chemo. Hard to believe what has gone on in this last year, isn't it? The lyrics in Shania Twain's song UP are perfect for all of us: "Up, Up, Up. It can only go up from here."
I'm so proud of you for fighting and winning! You are an amazing person and I'm so glad God brought our paths together and made us friends. Although I wish we didn't have to have BC to become friends.

congrats on reaching the one year mark! You are so right about being able to get through it all. As I said to my rads onc today my 28 treatments went pretty fast but when I think about chemo starting last August, it has been a journey. Will look forward to being cancer free after xray in May.
