chemo again

Well, newest CT scan shows slight incease in my tumor. I did chemo last Jan-May with radiation at the same time. I also did the prevalent brain rad July - August.
Scans at that time showed George (I named the little bastid, no offense anyone) had shrunk considerably. He now decided to rear his ugly head again, not a lot, but enough for the Onco doc and pulmonry doc to want me to do more chemo, starting next Monday.
Good news there is no evidence of anything else in either lung or stomach. Good news is no need for that horrid needle biopsy again since it's same spot. Good news is no radiation. Good news is I know what to expect after last year's chemo, as far as side effects, etc.

Scanxiety
Hi Kelli, Just want to wish you the best in this new round of chemo. This fight against this devil never seems to end, i go every 3 months for scans or x-rays because Onco Doc says we want to catch it early when it comes back (those words never leave my mind) Stay well and hope all go's well..... Dan
