Welcome
Hi Deerhaven,
Welcome to the CSN. This is a great board with very carrying and warm members. We all have either completed treatment or are in treatment so have been there and done that. Can you tell us a little about yourself, like what type of Lymphoma you have. You are having a very aggressive chemo but I do recall some people on this board doing repoch. I am one yr out of RCHOP treatment for an aggressive and very rare B and T cell NHL know as LPD. I was diagnosed with it in Jan 2008, treated with rituxin, achieved remission in April, 2008 and dianosed with relape in June 2009. This time it was B cell only, same disease and treatment was RCHOPx6. I am finally having some energy and feeling good.
I look forward to hearing more about you when you feel up to it.
Blessings to you,
Leslie0 -
Welcome to the site deerhaven
I am a 23 year survivor of non hodgkins lymphoma with only one recurrance early on after the first one and considered cure by my doctors some time ago.
Just wanted to welcome you to the site and echo what yesyes had to say about this being a wonderful and caring site for cancer patients and survivors alike. I also wanted you to see, by my presence, and the presence of many others who have beat this thing, that with good treatment and lots of support you can do it too. There will be tough times and yes perhaps hospitals stays but with support from friends and loved ones you will be fine.
All the best and feel free to post whenever you have a question or just need to vent. Be honest with your feelings, we don't consider anything 'whining' here because we have all been there at one time or another when we just felt poorly about this or that part of the treatments or recovery periods.
Blessings,
Bluerose0 -
Welcome
Just want to say welcome to this board. I hope you make it your board as well. We are all like a big family here. We joke whenever we can,but our main objective is to listen to each other and their everyday ventures. Having lymphoma is quite a venture, just not the venture of first choice. I would like to echo Leslie and Bluerose by saying you are very welcome here. We can probably be more help to you when we know a little more about your diagnosis. I was diagnosed last May with follicular NHL and am currently in remission. It takes time but you will be too. John(FOLLICULAR NON HODGKINS LYMPHOMA GRADE 1 STAGE 4)0 -

You've found the greatest place in the world for support while dealing with this rollercoaster ride. We are all here for support, sharing and laughter, tears, fears, frustrations and just plain companionship.
I have follicular stage 3. I've had a couple relapses but am doing rituxan maintenance right now. Please know this is doable, chemo stinks, but you can do this!
Take care and please come back.
