No Mama G, I don't have that problem. Have you told your oncologist? Are you at Moffitt yet? He should know.
Praying for you,
Kylez

Don't Want to Worry You....
but have you had a scope done of your esophagus? That's a primary sign that it COULD possibly be esphogeal cancer. NOT that it will be...but better safe than sorry getting it checked out. You should take it very seriously as EC is becoming more and more common and is very aggressive and something you don't want to mess around with.
Please be vigilant about getting it checked out! They would probalby do a swallow test and or a scope to make sure nothing is going on.
The awareness of EC symptoms isn't well known and there needs to be much more awareness brought to the forfront on it.
My dad was diagnosed in March of '10 with Stage IV EC with liver mets. He didn't have the classic symptoms of trouble swallowing or reflux. That's the scary part...so many people ignore mild symptoms until it gets worse, then when they finally get checked out it's usually too late to do anything about.
Again...It's probably nothing, but it would be in your best interest to have the doctor throughly check you out.
Blessings,

It is good to see you posting, but, sorry that it is about this. Wish I knew something to help you. Please call your doctor Mama G!

Hoping that either you aremimivac said:swallowing
MamaG,
I had that problem while in chemo. Had to make sure I had water with me during meals and took small bites. Mine was the actual act of swallowing. Sometimes I felt too weak to do it. I had TAC chemo, btw. Hope it passes soon.
Mimi
Hoping that either you are better now, or, you called your doctor and he helped you.
Update us please
