Cancer takes another good man

I was notified today that one of the best cops I worked with for over 25 years died yesterday of his cancer. He taught me a lot and was one of the first k-9 handler/trainers. He was old school but knew how to deal with people. It would have taken a lot to bring down Dave-damn cancer!

    I'm sorry about your loss.It never gets easy,I have lost 3 acadamy classmates to cancer,one was my ex-girlfriend.one brother,etc.I hate cancer.

    I keep hearing that strides have been made in the fight against cancer, and yet it also seems I read a post just about every day with a report like this. Drives me crazy! I'm so sorry about your friend.

    Sometimes its so hard to read sad news, but I still get on and read to see if I can find something positive and good. But I guess this goes hand in hand. May he rest in peace. Hope you find some closure. Blessings, Lourdes.
