Taking a break

I just need to take a break for awhile. My mother's illness has consumed everything I am or have. I need to take a break from all things related to cancer.

feel better now?
I am so glad you got to take a real break, because it was all way too much in your face. Feel better now? I have been commuting back and forth to Mom's for two years now, and my breaks are becoming shorter and fewer. Plus, it's getting harder to watch Mom's decline. Still, I can't say enough for taking every chance to slip out and recharge if you possibly can. When I'm used up I know it, because I feel like such an emotional wreck that I'm no good to anybody.0
