I left the board when i could nolonger read of people i was just begining to know, dying, it was so sad and made my problem with this cancer seem small, i felt guilty for still being here and living when loveones were lost, why me. This cancer has wrecked my life, i have had three serious surgeries and will be getting my liver surgery done on the 9th they will be removing 65% of my liver and this scares me.

I signed onto the board today hoping to find happy good news, but sadly i found more loss,

i just wanted to let you all know, i was still alive and i will check in from time to time

Everyone takecare and for those of you who have lost someone, i am greatly sorry and i hope you have carry on.

    Thank you for checking in. I have often wondered how you were doing. I remember when you first came to the board and so glad you are hanging in there. We are all very sad when we lose a member of our CNS family. Please dont give in to survivors guilt .....you have been through enough. Wishing you much success with your upcoming surgery.Keep us posted on how you are doing.

    Winney ,nice to see you back and know you ate doing
    reasonably well , certainly we have got vey very sad looses but there are many who are still here, more than those that sadly died, so odds are in our favor let's be positive! we have to!Hope everything goes very well with your surgery!,l will pray for it!.

    We understand your fears, Penny - liver surgery and having so much liver removed is a daunting challenge at best.

    Know it's hard to read about members who have passed on - looks like we're picking up where we left off last year - it's a very difficult disease to battle and can wear you down.

    Of course, we're a board of cancer, so we expect some bad news, that is the nature of our forum. Always nice to hear good news, but we gear up for the bad news, because there is alot of that in our battles.

    Drop in when you can - and best of luck on that surgery - we're all pulling for you.

I kept thinking about you so much and not hearing from you saddened me, I kept thinking, no, not Winney, so seeing you post this morning put a smile on me. What kind of surgery did you have? I'm sorry cancer has wrecked your life but you know what, you are still here, you are thriving, you are having the surgery so many wish for so no feeling guilty that you are surviving, we are truly happy for you and gives so many many hope in thinking she can do it, so can I! So now concentrate on the liver surgery and getting yourself in the best shape you can for the surgery, that is so very important in the healing process.

    Well you made my day.

    Hey Penny....GIRL!!!....SOOOOOOOOOOO good to hear from you. I have missed you SOOOOOOO much!!! and yes it is good to see that smiling mug!!!! Sounds like you have been through a lot with more to come. Always something huh? You will be fine...keeping you in my prayers and sending GOOD vibes your way for the surgery. Understand the need for a break cause sometimes its just depressing..... Take care my friend.
