I recieved my pathology report ,it showed gleason score 3+4 7
tumor involved right and left posterior , right and left anterior,
vascular invasion not identified
perineural invasion identified
tumor multicentricity: multicentric foci of invasive carcinoma are present
high grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia : identified
capsule : focal extracapsular extension is left prosterior base
seminal vesicles : not involved
bladder neck : not involved
surgical margins : free of tumor
non - neoplastic prostate : unremarkable
lymph nodes left pelvic ,excision:
lymph node disection :
benign lymph nodes number of lymph nodes examined 5
lymph nodes right pelvic, excision
lymph disection :
benign lymph nodes number of lymph nodes examined 11
adipose tissue : benign adipose tissue
I was wondering if anyone knew about the extracapsular extension in left prosterior means . the surgon said that at surgery there were no surprises , and that he removed 1 nerve on left side , .
I am releved catherer is out was wondering will the pain while urinating pass , i seem to be holding up well i keep a pad in and seem to get a little dribble and some blood , but am making it to gathroom when I feel a burning sensation is that also normal
