Anyone had good experiences with different forms of dilators? My doctor recommended trying something other than the medical dilators I have - hard white plastic things. She said consumer products that are softer, or curved might be more comfortable.
Looking on the internet I'm seeing at least one product that suggests that a vibration might actually have some medical benefits - increasing circulation (which sounds a bit weak to me, but I'm willing to try it). (e.g., here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB7P8dYuKeA)
I probably don't need to tell this crowd that I'm not looking for an excuse to buy sex toys - I'm just trying to get the best tools to make the dilator experience as good as possible, but some of those tools are pretty expensive so I'd love to hear other people's experience before I start experimenting.
Really not enjoying the dilator experience.
