    Congratulations! It's been 17 months since those dreaded
    words were told to me ==== .. You have breast Cancer .. 8/14/09. My life has changed, I have struggled, I have fought for my life -- but I am here living each day to it's fulliest.

    I just realized that it was one year today that the ob called me to his office for the results. It really made me mad that he would not just tell me over the phone. Made me come to his office. I told the nurse they better not make me wait in the waiting room, they did. When they asked for my co-pay I nearly went postal. He came in and did they whole "I have bad news" thing. I had no time for that. Just give me the stupid diagnosis so I can get on with it. I did just that. I have never let this take up my time any more than it has to. I have never let cancer own me. I have always been in charge. I may have had cancer in my body but it does not have me!
