neck nerves

I'm 10 years post treatment and 3 months ago my neck is sore and hurts. I have a hard time looking up and I'm feeling the pain a little in my shoulders and upper arms and upper back. Has anyone else had any late effects from chemo or radiation? I know that is probably what it is just wondering if anyone else has experienced it.

Hi Linda
I am 5 ½ years passed my last treatment and about 6 months ago started having bad pain in the back of the neck and in my head. The pain in the neck is not too bad now and doctors found that my Mastoids are infected. I have no idea how the Mastoids and neck are related but the pain in both came at the same time and went at the same time.

It might be worth getting it checked.

10 years! Awesome. Please heed Hondo's advice.

Just seems to me that so many of us have to deal with nerve damage from the rads- the C med community should be more "with it" in helping us. L'hermitte hit me a couple months after the last rad (4/09), and is still with me. Some say it goes away, but I still suffer with it.
