I just hired my brain doc back

Yep, he was man enough to call me and talk me into staying with him. The scary old woman is happy about it.

There really is no one with any experience down here in the country. Most importantly the brain doc now knows don’t mess with me. I start a different seizure drug tomorrow.

I bet his staff will listen to me now when I call about a problem. Sometimes you just have to hit some people up the side of the head to get their attention.

Kerry (old guy that won’t be messed with - old guys don't care if no one likes us)

    You are open-minded enough to re-consider your firing of this doctor. I wondered how many choices of brain docs you would have since you are not in a large urban area. Keep us up to date!

    Your not as much of an old coot, good for you speaking up, I should have done a little more of that with my surgical team. I am happy your woman is happy. An unhappy scary woman can be dangerous to live with, dont think i would close my eyes much. Now you can get some rest.

    As long as this guy is highly skilled in what he does, stick with him. Sometimes docs talk, talk, talk, but don't listen very well. Don't forget, it is his skill you want, he can have the personality of a fish, who cares.

    My first reaction in seeing your post was "what, why would he do that", but then I read what you said above & it makes sense. And yes, he now knows how he should act with you. :)

    Hey you old coot! Isn't it such a wonderful feeling when you have the power and the courage to hire, fire, and re-hire a brain doctor? This is NOT the doctor who you call your vet, is he?

    Stay full of P-ss & vinegar and love that woman known as scary lady. She deserves a medal, putting up with you! We love ya' darlin' Kerry.

    P.S. I'm going to the neuro next Monday. Hopefully he will give me a little advice on how to deal with the compressed disks and maybe hand me a back pain card to play when I need it..LMAO.
