Thank you to the Heidijez angels
On behalf of Heidi's Mom and family members, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the beautiful flowers that were received at Heidi's home. Heidi's Mom placed several of the beautiful blue petals in Heidi's hands as she told her that they were from her CSN angels. Heidi's Mom is also planning to plant the hydrangea in her garden outside of the room where Heidi would sleep when she visited her.
I would also like to share with you the following poem that I read at Heidi's service:
Forever and Always
Why are your crying? Do you think that I'm gone? I haven't left you. I'm here where I belong. Anytime you are lonely, anytime you are sad, anytime that your heart breaks, anytime you are mad -- all you have to do is close your eyes and I'll be there with you. You see the world may take my body but that's all that it can do. When Jesus died upon the cross, he took away our sins. He conquered death so we can live in heaven where life begins.
Don't stop the memory of the time we shared. It's God's way to help you through.
Take time to laugh when life gets hard, the way we used to do! A smell? A touch? The morning sun? They all will help you see. I'm still there. I never left. Now smile once more for me.
Live each day. Keep looking up. My life was not in vain. I finished the task I was born to do. That's why I couldn't remain.
Until I see you - I love you forever and always.
Thank you to Heidi's angels for all your thoughts and prayers.
May God Bless all of you always.
Heidi's cousin, Diane and Heidi's entire family

Oh My~ Diane, I don't even
Oh My~ Diane, I don't even know how to respond to this post with the dignity it deserves. You have touched the hearts of all of us who knew and loved Heidi. We are so thankful that you let us know that the flowers arrived, that petals were placed in her hand ( we are all sobbing at that beautiful, bittersweet picture) and for sharing the poem with us.
I also want your family to know that the angels here have been so generous in contributing to the flowers I chose for Heidi, remembering that she loved the color blue, that I will be able to make a large donation to not only the ACS, but also a Penguin Rescue Fund! Peace and blessings to you...and again, thank you so much for re-connecting with us.
Hugs,

I am so sorry about Heidi. I have been away from the board since before Christmas. I do not have a computer at home and I myself have not been well. Not the Beast though - various illnesses that have left me tired and quiet - colds, the flu, upper respiratory - my oncologist dosen't know what to make of me. But I read today of Heidi's passing my heart broke. Bless you for keeping us posted and know that your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers. Eternal rest grant unto her Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine on her. May she rest in peace, Amen.

Diane,
I responded on the other post you made but I will say again, that I will honor Heidi by being a better person myself. She was very inspiring. I choose to celebrate her life rather than mourn her death. Your poem said it best, she is still with us. Thank you for sharing this and her mom's plans for the hydrangeas.

Placing the petals in her hand from her "Sisters" was so symbolic of her friendships she held here.
God's peace to her family.
