Mammo was good. Blood work good. He's not overly concerned about the swelling, can't feel any discernable nodes. He's going to send to a lymphadema clinic about the swelling so that they can look at and teach me what to watch for and how to deal with it. Told me if it gets worse to call him and he may send me for a sonogram or possible scan, but really doesn't want to expose me to unneccessary radiation. He admits that I know my body and knows I'll tell him when I need to.

Also gonna be sending me for another bone scan soon to see how the reclast worked and if enough improvement that I won't have to get it anymore.

So all that worrying a waste of time. Why do I continue to do this to myself???

Thanks guys for listening and complaining. I appreciate you all!!

Beth

Thats really good news Beth and I'm sure you are very relieved...I am! Honestly Beth, I think once we've been diagnosed with cancer, the periodic worrying is going to be with us forever. I'm just glad we have this group of caring people to get us through those scary fretful times. Try to relax now and enjoy the start of the new year.

    Great News
    Beth,
That is great news. You know every time we sneeze, cough, nose starts to run,any sharp pain, etc. We are going to say uh-oh,Whats that? I know because I do the same thing. I am sure that same thought goes thru everyones mind. These are normal things for people but when it happens to us its different. At least in our minds anyway. It will probably be that way forever with us. We went thru a lot with this crap and just about all of it is bad memories. We have been told it will probably come back. We don't know when. I am sure there are people out there that have been waiting for years for it to return. That fear in the back of our minds will keep us on edge til the end of time. Oh Great!
    Hi, Beth,

I am so happy to hear the more mellow news of your day. I knew my prayers worked! I did that in a certain yoga pose thinking of you which I learned from reading an article about a retreat for cancer patients reaching out to each other to reduce internal suffering and when they are physically not together.

We all go through waves of such experiences and we all ride this together so that is nice.

    Great
I am glad it all went well Beth. I had cellulitis(sp) twice . It was from what they think was a spider bite. How I got it is a mystery. How can a spider get you with 4 cats sleeping on your bed. Useless cats!!!!:)
