i'm still here Mollyz
I haven't put up any posts lately but I've chimed in on a few threads. I've been busy getting back to normal As you might remember, after I started chemo we had to put my 2 yr old in daycare, she's been back home with me during the day for about 3 weeks now. And I had my 9 yr old home from school for 2 weeks for Christmas break -between all the Christmas shopping, wrapping, baking, and the constant cleaning with having them BOTH home all day with me, I barely had time for anything else! It's a little easier with Camryn back in school, but Lia (or Doodie as I affectionately call her) keeps me pretty busy all day! I'm feeling pretty good (other than the cold I'm coming down with today..) - getting my strength and energy back, I've started exercising and doing my yoga (which i LOVE) again. My new boobs are settling into place, I have an appt with my plastic surgeon on Friday to discuss my nipple reconstruction. I'm seeing my oncologist every 2-3 months since I'm on Tamoxifen. My hot flashes are really manageable now, my hair & eyelashes are growing in nice & thick (although my lashes are not quite long enough for mascara yet!). I posted a picture in my expresions from Christmas Eve with my new hair. That was a few weeks ago & it's already longer & darker now.
My mom had her last chemo last week!! The 2 rounds of Taxotere really kicked her butt, and she's got rashes on her hands & feet really bad. She has a few weeks off before she begins her radiation treatments.
Thank you, Mollyz, for thinking of me I'm happy to report that things are going very well! I took a few days off of here after Heidi passed away, I was just so sad upon hearing the news.
*hugs*

on 'you' getting back to normal, and yoga... Enjoying the time with your girls during the holidays, and your Mom. Sounds like you are starting to 'live' your life again. Takes some time .. we can get there!
Never give in, or give up -- that's the way we 'Chemo Queens' finish the race!
