    A candle burns in her memory at our house.
    It am so sad to hear about our loss of a sister, Heidi. I have been caught up in family problems for the past two and one half weeks and have not been keeping up with the discussion board. I just read about Heidi's passing.
    She will be remembered.

    I can't stop crying....
    And I too am lighting my candles in memory of Heidi, they will
    burn right into the new year. And I will keep her memory with
    me for years to come.

    She really touched me with all her positive posts, even if the news
    was bad she put a positive spin on it. I just am in disbelief.... how
    can we loose someone so precious just like that?

    If I am not mistaken she started the site on facebook right? It'll
    be her gift to us. To support and be there for each other.

    Life is way too short!

    Heidi, thank you for your bravery and your courage and the hope that you had to the end. Thank you for being an example to all of us. You never complained, only gave hope and encouragement. We will miss you. Thank you for being a shining light to all of us, to me.

    You are correct, Ayse~ she did start the Sisters in Pink group on FB. Such a beautiful soul, full of hope and encouragement and light. Candles don't begin to do her justice, do they?

    Chen, you're so right...
    Candles just aren't enough. But, it's what we can all do, together. The miles between us melt away as all the candles lit by heartbroken Kindred Spirits burn in unity.

    Sending cyberhugs of comfort to all my pink warrior sisters & friends, in remembrance of Heidi - one of us. Taken much too quickly.

    My candle is burning. This is so sad. More tears being shed this evening because there is a beast out their looking to devour us. We are warriors one and all, and as Chen said we will kick cancer's **** with kicks higher than any Rockette. We are warriors and we are strong.

    This is such a sad day
    This is such a sad day because we've lost such a dear sister who fought a brave battle to the end. May the day come quickly when we don't lose anymore to this beast.

    I lit a candle for a dear sister and put my two angels beside it. I felt honored to have received these from her and I will treasure them all the more. She is truly an angel watching over all of us and we are blessed to have known her.

    I just found Heidi's obituary online. It also has information about the funeral and a memory book. The memory book is so simple to use that I figured it out.
