Hi,

Im new here. My husband has been diagnosed with stage IV adrenal carcinoma. He has a 14.5 x 10.1 x 10.1 cm tumor on the left adrenal gland, the drs say this is a very large mass. The biopsy showed metastatic to the lung. He will be having surgery next week to remove the tumor, and probably the left kidney and the spleen. He will be started on chemotherapy also.

I know this is a very rare cancer.

Has anyone else ever had or known someone who had adrenal cancer? Any information would help.

His surgeon said that bleedint was a great concern because the area is filled with blood vessels and arteries. The surgery will last 4-8 hours.

Thanks for any info, I really appreciate it.

Debbie
