OT - surfing at the beach with the President

Hi,
This is off topic for sure but cool. **** was surfing today and President Obama and his family came down to the beach. It is a small beach because it is on the Marine Corps Base so there were only a handful of people there. Secret Service all around but fun none the less. Not a bad day for a man who has been through 2 major surgeries and 32 rounds of chemo.

    Yep, a good conversation piece. I was in the military and know first hand how it is to serve your country and have the President of the US stop in for a visit

    That is so kewl, Kathleen! What makes it even kewl'er is that, like you say, it was a small secluded beach... not Waikiki or some heavily populated beach where the family wouldn't have a minute to themselves just to unwind and enjoy the beach. So what a neat thing for **** to be able to share :)
