Hi Jean,
It's always a waiting game- wait, wait, and more waiting. Sorry about that! Glad to hear the lungs are clear, the BP is down, and that the onc was positive! Have your docs ever discussed the Gemzar/Xeloda combination, which is what I've been on since March? Just curious. You and I are kind of in the same situation. I haven't done any trials yet, but am pretty much there. I'm doing your option C, not an older chemo, but one that is normally used for another cancer. The trick there is that insurance will balk at it & they'd probably pay for one that is older, but that has been used for colorectal. You never can tell with them.
I will be curious to hear what you finally end up going with, as I guess you will be too!
Here's a big cyberhug and know that we are in this together.
Love ya,

I'm sorry you have to wait. But as long as there is something they can do, it's worth it. I pray that you will get contact from Dr. Kelley soon. Take care. My thoughts are with you always. We will go to see Dr. Munster next Wednesday and will start the trial pretty soon I guess. I'll let you know how it goes. - Lucy -
